Our Members
LCSA is the NSW peak organisation representing the broad interests of Neighbourhood and Community Centres. We exist to resource and support our members so they can grow as community development organisations, and to advocate and represent them amongst policy and decision makers.
Our member centres are integral in developing and strengthening their local communities so they are safe, healthy and resilient. They are involved in community development programs to realise greater social inclusion, and are involved in local and state-wide advocacy and campaigning of sector-wide issues.
Member centres adhere to the Neighbourhood Centre Philosophy and Policy 2003.
LCSA receives income from Community Services funding and membership payments to support our work in resourcing and consulting members with community strengthening skills and tools, and keeping them well informed on sector developments.
Member benefits include: access to LCSA staff’s extensive sector knowledge, advice and consultation, LCSA Management Support Online (LCSA MSO), sector tools and resources and free job advertising rates on our website. Become a member or renew your membership to take advantage of these benefits, and to help us continue supporting the sector.
