Transition to Community Builders: please be aware of the changes

Thank you again for helping us secure an extra $10 million for community strengthening and capacity building, in our CSGP funding campaign. Funding disbursment details are still unavailable, but in the meantime we have produced a simple checklist for centre staff and boards to ensure they prepare for the Community Builders transition. Please read it and related documents as the changes will impact your centre's operation and services.

 

What centre staff and boards need to do:

1. Read all Community Services communication

Your centre will have received a letter from Community Services around the proposed funding stream for your centre. Please read this and ensure you understand its contents.

2. Read Transitioning CSGP Community Strengthening Services to Community Builders
LCSA has been permitted by Communities and Early Years Division of Community Services to release this document. It provides more information on the transition including the Service Activity Description, which will be crucial for centre operation under the transition.

3. Contact LCSA

LCSA wants its members and all organisations undergoing this transition to have as much clear information as possible. If your organisation has any concerns or questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.
