Linda Burney, Minister for Community ServicesWe are happy to announce Linda Burney, Minister for Community Services, as a conference keynote speaker. Elected Member for Canterbury in 2003, Linda was appointed Minister for Fair Trading, Youth and Volunteering in 2007 and promoted to Minister for Community Services in 2008. Linda has a genuine passion for the sector and a strong conviction of the role of neighbourhood and community centres. We look forward to hearing Linda's experience of wicked problems and social innovations to counter them.

Carl Pascoe, Creative Connections

Carl PascoeWe are happy to announce our first Conference Keynote Speaker, Carl Pascoe. Carl is a consultant and director of the Creative Connections group of companies based in Christchurch, New Zealand. He has 30 years experience in front line social service delivery, community work, education, business management and consultancy roles in a range of organisations, both locally and nationally. He has also undertaken diverse management roles including as Branch Manager for Intellectual Disability Sector (IDS) and local manager for Relationship Services.

Ella James, media personality

Ella James, media personalityWe are happy to announce our second Conference Keynote Speaker, Ella James. Ella has over 20 years media experience in Australian radio, TV and magazines, and as a stand-up comedian and voice artist. Ella will provide her unique insight into how the sector can face our wicked problems.
